The M 149 Tube is a switchable dual diaphragm microphone. The capsule K 49, known from the legendary microphones U 47, and M 49, is followed by an impedance transformer. This does not work on a transformer, as previously required, but is complemented with a transformerless output circuit. The M 149 Tube can also be operated with long microphone cables without the need for sound distortion.
